What makes the loofah sponge so unique? To start with, this sponge is 100% natural. When the ripe fruit of the loofah plant is dried and then cut into thin slices, the result is impressive. The fruit is full of firm fibres that are both flexible and soft. A (dry) sponge feels slightly abrasive. But you do not need to worry about pans with a non-stick coating. The fibres of the sponge are soft enough and do not damage your pans. Another advantage is that the sponge fits into any cup or mug because it is super pliable-the ideal tool for dishwashing.
