Dit is de Gibson Les Paul Premium Signature set (geleverd per stuk). Het gaat om een snarenset, bedoeld voor met name elektrische gitaren. De gitaarsnaren hebben round wound pure nickel windingen om een hex-vormige stalen kerndraad heen. Dit zorgt ervoor dat je gitaar een ronde, warme sound meekrijgt. Om eventuele bijgeluiden tijdens het spelen tegen te gaan, zijn de uiteinden van de snaren tevens in zijde gewikkeld. Deze .009 - .046 set is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met en goedgekeurd door gitaarlegende Les Paul zelf.

Traditional wound acoustic strings are based on a hex -shaped core wire with a single wrap of metal. For the Silk&Steel, we start with a round core wire and wrap it first with a soft material. We then wrap the modified core with the silver-plated copper (silk & steel) or 92/8 phosphor bronze (Silk & Phosphor). This process provides a subtle softness to the tone and creates a pleasant-feeling string under the finger. These strings are commonly used in folk and singer/songwriter genres.
